Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution illustrates a clinical-family modality to carry out Technical Consultations in separation and divorce proceedings. It is based on a relational conception of parenthood, understood as a "triangular function" that is determined in the interrelation between the two parents, the child and the respective relational systems of origin. In this perspective, the pre-eminent evaluation criterion of parental adequacy is not limited to considering the "curiosity" of each parent, but focuses on the ability and willingness of each parent to promote the symbolic and active access of their children to the whole relational context, or the ability of each, to maintain and consolidate the "parent unit" with respect to the child himself. From this theoretical assumption, a semi-standardized operational protocol was developed within a quasi-experimental research logic, both as regards the intervention procedure and the techniques and tools. This specific working method is also illustrated through the presentation of a clinical case that highlights how it is particularly suitable for promoting a constructive listening to the child in judicial processes.
