Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Agricultural crop protection strategies are increasingly oriented towards sustainability. Mathematical models and DSS (decision support systems) - which are increasingly used in various sectors, including viticulture - provide predictions about the probable infectious events and therefore allow to position treatments more precisely. The availability of biocontrol agents, botanicals and resistance inductors then widens the possibilities of choosing the plant protection products to be used. Fungicides remain, however, a key tool in integrated production and organic farming programs. A sustainable use of fungicides cannot be separated from a thorough knowledge of their characteristics, in particular of MoA (Mode of Action) and PMoA (Physical Mode of Action).
