Abstract
The thesis is that the philosophical thinking on poverty must be disentangled from its opposition to paradigms of wealth: the economic evaluation of owned goods, the production of income, or the idealist vision of future wealth to be pursued. On this point, it is necessary reframe poverty in the ethical and political terms that it ignites when reflection moves away from abstractness and quantification. Instead, reflection must turn to the present distribution of relationship through which one accesses both material and immaterial goods, so-called 'things'.
