Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Starting from the 2017 Youth Report survey, the contribution takes into consideration the impact of the school curricula of young people on three fundamental questions: the development of life skills; the transition to the world of work; the different forms of participation and mobilization in public life. The data confirm the existence of a positive correlation between the course of study (measured in duration and qualification obtained), the development of certain soft skills (especially related to the ability to pursue goals and relational skills) and the propensity to participate to association and public interest activities. The opinion expressed by young people about the need for the school to be more open and intertwined with the world of work is more transversal.
