Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume follows some of the most recent instances of European educational historiography, which is dealing with growing interest in the theme of school memory, understood as a practice of re-enacting a common experience spent on either side of the chair. The essays contained in the book deal with the cinematographic and television representations of the book "Cuore", by Don Milani, with some innovative didactic initiatives in Italy in the seventies and with Maestro Manzi to document how they have transmitted and built particular images of school destined to become a shared cultural heritage. The large and small screen, in fact, play a decisive role not only in keeping the memory of the school alive, but also in activating that semantic negotiation process between personal memories and socially reworked memories in which the collective school memory takes shape .
