Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Francis of Assisi, God's jester, invites us to always be with a smiling face (hilari vultu), indicating a precise lifestyle that is also a testimony of the Christian faith, of the joy of Easter. Through a reading of Hildegard's texts, the interpretation of happiness is proposed as a response of creation, and not only of man, to the creator. Joy thus turns out to be a testimony of praise, of gratitude for the life received as a gift.
God's creative activity is the starting point and the point of arrival.
