Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter introduces the concept of episodic volunteering differentiating it from other types of volunteering. It examines the case of Expo 2015, providing a complete picture of the profiles of the 2,300 volunteers met through an interview and a longitudinal questionnaire.
