Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The preface provides some information and details about d'Annunzio's military career, which began with singular reluctance and ended with the disappointment of the peace treaties and the consequent capture of Fiume. Among other things, the contribution given by the Poet to the military cause is highlighted with tactical suggestions and technical improvements.
