Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay analyzes Gothic painting in the Varese area, starting from the important presence of the Master of the Tomb Fissiraga in the Baptistery. The decorative campaigns in S. Caterina del Sasso and in the parish churches of the territory are then considered, to reach the Visconti oratory of Albizzate and the international Gothic frescoes of the Castle of Masnago
