Il test di Rorschach come intervento terapeutico. Risultati di un caso singolo a misure ripetute.

[Autom. eng. transl.] This intervention illustrates how the Rorschach and the extended test were an important time of therapeutic change in the Therapeutic Assessment (AT) of an adult client. This emerges from the analysis of the case through the methodology of repeated measures applied to the study of this single case. The case illustrated is that of Clara, a young woman sent for an assessment to the European Center for Therapeutic Assessment because she can no longer tolerate the pressure related to university exams and her parents' requests to always perform and start thinking of not being able to continue the studies. Furthermore, Clara has difficulty developing and maintaining intimate relationships and feels inadequate and unable to handle strong emotions that arise in the relationship with a partner. To address Clara's problems, the clinician used the TA model, including the collection of Clara's questions for the assessment, the administration of standardized tests useful to answer those questions, the inquiry extended to those same tests, the administration of non-standardized tests as a stimulus to therapeutic intervention and a verbal discussion of the results followed by the sending of a summary letter. With the use of an experimental design with repeated measures for the study of the single case, the authors demonstrate that: 1. Clara perceived a statistically significant improvement in her difficulties at the end of TA; 2. in particular the administration of Rorschach and the investigation extended to some answers coincide with a positive change in the symptoms reported by her. Finally, some implications for future studies on the Rorschach test as a therapeutic intervention are discussed.
