Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In the juridical discipline on the duration of the employment relationships and on the intervals of the working performance the rules that preside over the distribution of the times and those that base the contractual responsibility intersect. The resulting regulation contributes to defining a central aspect of the person's involvement in labor relations: that of the conditions of effectiveness to which the fundamental rights of workers are recognized for health and the free expression of personal, religious and civil convictions, in respect of the needs of the community. The conceptual category of "free time", already explored in fields of scientific research other than law, presents itself in the eyes of the jurist as a prism, in which coherent norms to the system that are already consolidated are reflected, alongside hypotheses for the solution of still problems open. In this logic, as an instrument of rationality that contributes to defining and constructing normative interpretations, the category of "leisure" has its own positive point of view.
