Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay analyzes in all its multiple implications, human no less than political, the reason for exile in the Italian literature of the Risorgimento, against the background of the motions and wars for Italian independence. In the foreground, especially, the biographical texts and events of Foscolo, Scalvini, Berchet, Cantù, Rossetti, Arrivabene and Tommaseo.
