Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay documents Ludovico di Breme's reflections on the concepts of "sublime" and "pathetic". Through examples taken from his writings, we analyze the importance these themes have had for the formulation of a "pathetic-sentimental" romanticism.
