Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The issue of family support is of great interest to today's society. Educational support for parenting is increasingly becoming a possibility offered to the family as such. It is aimed at enhancing the potential and resources present in it and is aimed at promoting a social context attentive to those "new" and, often, silent needs that emerge in the daily life of all families. The contribution aims to investigate the Educational Paths and Services that aim to support the family starting from the examination of some realities present in the Social-Health District of Cittiglio (Va), through qualitative research. The study made it possible to delve into the knowledge of the interventions proposed in the territorial area under investigation and to identify their strengths and critical points. The local community, called to materialize into an "educating community", plays a leading role in the planning aimed at providing educational support to the family. In the social sphere, Law 328/00 and other sector laws have promoted concerted planning between the players operating on the territory at different levels and with different legal forms. However, much remains to be done in the area of family policy, where it is evident that the family has to play a central role.
