Abstract
The Social Relations Model has been proposed by Kenny & La Voie (1984) to study interpersonal perception. This model has been also used to partition family data into individual, dyadic and family effects and it permits examination of several types of interdependence between and within family. At the individual level, actor and partner effects for each family role can be estimated. At the dyadic level, relationship effect can be estimated; and at the family level family effect can be estimated.
