Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] According to Cassirer knowledge should not be understood as a passive mirroring of the world, but rather as a modality of objectification and problematization of reality, which requires an active intervention of the knowing subject. However, he recognizes that this task is not the prerogative of scientific knowledge alone, but is also realized by other human cultural activities; despite the multiplicity and variety of its forms, culture, like knowledge, constitutes a unit that presents the characteristics of a system, in which the individual parts condition each other.
