Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Immigrant entrepreneurs are confronted, within the local market within which their activities are located, with constraints and opportunities. The major constraints are of a material nature (eg economic resources; position occupied) and of an intangible nature (eg lack of information and communication resources). To these constraints are added those linked to the tax burden, to the rents of buildings and materials, to the barriers for access to credit. At the same time, the Lombard and, in particular, metropolitan world of work is considered an opportunity from the point of view of the dynamism of the market itself, the opening to international products, widespread consumption, the presence of numerous immigrant communities.
