Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Retracing the journey made during their journey of liberation of the Italian territory, the volume deals with the topic of radio propaganda in which pop music played a fundamental role - in the stations gradually reactivated by the Allies. But the events relating to those broadcasters, the activity that revolved around the radios and the sounding of the "phonosphere" that enveloped the Italians between September 8th and Liberation, also become effective tools for identifying most of the dynamics that agitate the country at that time. Poised between the continuity of the pre-war period and the sudden innovations introduced by the Anglo-Americans, the "voice" of the new Italian radio thus becomes the expression of a new collective feeling and intercepting it is a way to tune in to the spirit of that delicate moment of "transition".
