Abstract

The condition of disability doesn’t have to wear down the person’s dignity. It needs normality as basic principle inside the necessary growth process of the individual as a person and a citizen. This means affirming that a person with disability needs to: - Live in normal life contexts whit other men and women; - Experience a daily life similar to every other person considered “normal”; - Be involved in working processes typical of his/her environment; - Have access to health, social and cultural basic support previewed for every citizen; - Benefit this support with freedom and without architectural barriers and limitations.
