Il progetto Polisportiva Laureus a Napoli: un focus sul processo di valutazione e di monitoraggio

[Autom. eng. transl.] The Polisportiva project created by the Laureus Italy Foundation in Naples was born in 2010 with the aim of giving the opportunity to do sport to minors in areas at risk of the city that otherwise would not be able to afford it. Putting 7 third sector social cooperatives in the network that are in charge of the approximately 200 children of the Laureus project with as many Sports Societies from different districts of the city of Naples, the project aims to include sports activities in the children's educational projects. considered a valuable opportunity to prevent social risk and promote well-being. During the two-week sports practice, the minors are followed by instructors specifically trained by a team of Laureus psychologists, always in close synergy with the educational figures of the social cooperatives who follow them daily. The aim of this work is the description of the project as a whole due to the innovative features that distinguish it. A specific focus will be dedicated to the presentation of the monitoring and evaluation system of the project, which the Laureus Foundation is developing in collaboration with a team of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. Starting from a consistent work of sharing with the Laureus operators, of explaining the general objectives of the project and of the specific indicators that allow their monitoring, a complex participatory two-year evaluation system was designed that will involve all the actors of the Polisportiva. In addition to its presentation, the first results will be proposed.
