Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The question of the criteria by which to contribute, without moral compromises, to legislative activity even when its outcomes, in a justified manner, will maintain more or less significant aspects from the ethical point of view has increasingly emerged, in these years, both in the field of political ethics and in moral theology. However, in-depth analysis on the subject remains sporadic and there is no systematic discussion of the entire subject. In this context, this volume aims to offer an original contribution, offering authoritative reflections, in mutual dialogue, of a juridical, philosophical and theological-moral sphere. So that an overall ethical approach about the modalities of presence, according to the specific responsibility of each member, within the legislative institutions typical of democratic pluralism can develop progressively.
