Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article analyzes the figure of Prince Antonio Ptolemy Gallio Trivulzio in the perspective of the relationship with the court of Vienna and the empress Maria Teresa who made possible the foundation of the Pio Albergo Trivulzio. Resuming some research, it was possible to extend the knowledge on the last years of the prince's life and the opinions on the Lombard aristocracy and the Teresian reforms
