Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] This chapter examines the trend in the price of milk
stable in Italy in recent years, focusing in detail on the two-year period 2020-
2021, resorting in particular to the simulation of the price in Lombardy carried out by the Observatory on the Market of Zootechnical Products as part
of the Lombardy Region - Unioncamere Lombardia program agreement
for economic development and competitiveness. The result of this simulation is compared with the contracts proposed to its suppliers – and in
previously agreed with their organizations – from Italatte, the
main buyer of milk in Italy, which acts as the main point of reference for the system. Furthermore, in the second part of the chapter, it is analyzed in the light of the price situation in some European countries which most affect the balance of the milk market at home, i.e.
France, Bavaria and Austria.
