Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article illustrates the organizational organization that has characterized the industrial tomato supply chain in Northern Italy. It has emerged with the birth of an association called the Pomodoro of Industrial Industry in Northern Italy since 2007, to then become an Interprofessional Organization recognized by the Emilia-Romagna region first and then by the EU. this organizational form represents a strong innovation in the national context and has begun to produce effects, albeit indirectly, in terms of competitiveness in the sector in this part of the country.
