Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution retraced the events of the great polyptych purchased in Venice before 1392 and destined for the high altar of the Basilica of San Pietro in Ciel d'Oro in Pavia, of which the central compartment depicting Sant'Agostino in the chair at the Pinacoteca is conserved Malaspina. At the same time, through the rereading of the survivor Liber expensarum operum ab year 1380 to annual 1402, the vicissitudes of the construction site promoted by the Pavia hermitans in the last decades of the fourteenth century, in which the very young Michelino da Besozzo is also active, were traced.
