Abstract
The paper makes a comparison between two 'sacre rappresentazioni' on the life and conversion of Saint Mary Magdalen, written by the florentine author Castellano Castellani in late XV century. It underlines how the caracter of this feminine figure was represented in order to show a model of bad behaviour, before Magdalen's conversion, and of a good one after it. These dramatic texts were intended to educate florentine youth to a morally and politically correct behaviour.
