Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay reconstructs the intellectual biography of Carlo Ravizza (1811-1848), focusing in particular on his most famous work (Il cura di campagna) and on the circumstances of the foundation of the Ravizza Award for moral philosophy, which, in the Milan of the second half of the 19th century, it becomes a place for reflection on the theme of national identity.
