Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay uses Carlo Ginzburg's perspective in a famous essay (Spies. Roots of a circumstantial paradigm) to illustrate the sociological potential of media analysis as traces of a particular society in a given space-time context. Media products, technologies, consumption and consumer memories are analyzed as possible clues to current cultures and trends in society.
