Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter provides an updated picture of the comparative technological advantages of Italy compared to the other major industrialized countries. It also identifies the Italian specialization trends in those technological classes that show strong growth rates over time and within which technological competition takes place between companies from different countries.
