[Autom. eng. transl.] The Report on the milk market, edited by the Observatory on the market of livestock products, which is now in its twenty-second edition, is proposed as a tool for knowledge of the dairy sector in support of those who, for various reasons - be it public institutions, professional organizations, associative structures, business operators and scholars - are called to contribute to the functioning of this sector. The main effort was, therefore, to combine the completeness, timeliness and relevance of the information provided and the analyzes performed, with the synthesis necessary to make it an effective tool. The multi-year and qualified tradition that the Observatory can boast in the sector analysis constitutes the guarantee of a marked scientific rigor associated with concreteness and adherence to the problems of one of the most complex and articulated sectors of the national agri-food sector.
