Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Taking inspiration from some of Pope Francis' interventions, the issue of combating corruption as a matter of values is addressed, with critical remarks about the traditional reference to efficiency, respect for rules and democracy. Subsequently, assumed hope as a value and as a juridical paradigm, its preventive scope is evaluated and the areas of unfinished recognition by the legal system are highlighted.
