There, Cardinal Federico's long reflection on the themes of court service, the aims and means of the government of men and their relationship with divine law finds a first place. By means of a broad textual interpretation, the article offers some important interpretations, capable of reconnecting the work (and its author) to the broader political debate of the beginning of the seventeenth century.
