Il lavoro educativo come semiosi: tra contenimento e integrazione del sé. Impiego formativo di un caso di intervento educativo

[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume, unique in its kind, takes its cue from some of the most interesting experiences conducted by IREF in the area of disability and disability between 1992 and 1998. Over a thousand experts and operators contributed to achieving what rightly defined in the book as "one of the broader training programs that have been carried out in Italy". The spectrum of the issues dealt with, ranging from the regulatory and organizational framework of the socio-educational centers to the methods of rehabilitation intervention, are wide; unfolding on several sides: from theoretical reflection, to the training environment, to aspects that could be defined as organizational / institutional, thus offering an equally multiple audience: operators, trainers, trainees and the vast audience of families and readers, interested in socio-educational intervention in the world of disability. The volume, in particular, traces the experience implemented by IREF with the staff of the Catholic University of Milan, composed by Mario Groppo - to whose memory this book is dedicated -, Manuela Tomisich, Giuseppe Scaratti and Emanuela Confalonieri. An experience that has been a field of discussion and reflection for the world of Lombard services operating on disability. As in similar experiences of the training institute, we worked towards a shared "construction" of the meaning of the intervention: a path aimed at creating a common language between the operators of public services and the private social sector to obtain a more incisive action in the treatment of severe disability. The operators have been accompanied along the way to bring out the problems that the intervention with the disabled needs to meet on a daily basis and to identify together the resources on which to rely to address them.
