Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The work of the independent professional spokesperson, which takes the form of advocacy interventions defined by the case, is aimed at helping children and young people followed by child protection services to express their considerations to the reference operators. The article presents the introduction of the independent professional spokesperson in a day center for children and young people whose team of educators accepted the challenge of hearing how much the children attending the Center had to say about their educational projects. The contribution clearly presents the stages of preparation of the educational team for the introduction of the work of the spokesperson and how the spokesperson worked in two situations. The transformative outcomes of the work for the children involved and for the team of educators are highlighted in the conclusions.
