Abstract
Within the yearly Italian Report on Migrations (2022 edition) realised by the ISMU Foundation – the main Italian scientific institution on migrations and interethnic cohabitation – this chapter focuses the attention on migrants’ insertion in the Italian labour market. After a synthesis of major European and international trends, it analyses the most recent data concerning migrants’ labour forces, employment and unemployment in the post-Covid scenariors. Finally, it develops some considerations about the future governance of economic migration in Italy.
