Abstract
Inspired by a posthumous writing by the great jurist Michele Taruffo (an ironic apologue on the post-Babel human condition), the text reflects on the limits and potentials of interdisciplinary integration of law and on how much the latter requires the ability to communicate with different languages, taking note with humility of the non-exclusivity or dominance the language of jurists and letting loneself be guided by a genuine interest in worlds that open up beyond the normative sphere,
