Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter deals with the organizational structure and operating methods of the regulated markets of financial instruments active in our country. Both aspects are constantly evolving since Borsa Italiana (which is the main market management company operating in Italy) establishes which markets to establish, maintain or possibly close in relation to a whole series of reasons and operational opportunities, as well as taking into account of the service rendered with these markets to investors and intermediaries and also in light of the markets' ability to generate profitability for the company that manages them. After having classified the markets currently operating, the chapter describes their main organizational and operating methods, focusing on negotiation techniques, with specific attention to the methods of setting prices and carrying out trades.
