Abstract

The paper presents an introduction to the concept of the sharing economy: it identifies the characteristic features and the key practices. The second part specifies the sharing economy in Italy, starting from the results of a mapping of italian collaborative platforms. In the last part we introduce the concept of the shareable city and discusse the most interesting experiences at national and international level.
