Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter analyzes the phenomenon of cohabitation, comparing the situation in our country with the international scenario. The specificity of the Italian case is highlighted, where the new forms of living in pairs, which increasingly anticipate marriage, are spreading without affecting the strength of the family bond.
