Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The attention to the feminine declination of the network has gone through several phases. From the identification on the web of a tool capable of renewing the relations between genres, making women's voices stronger and more audible or reducing the perception of difference, to the analysis of the empirical emergencies of the female presence on the web that has highlighted how the process of appropriation of the network and the forms of "genre narration" that are hosted there, reconfirm some culturally shared and consolidated traits of gendered discouragement. The essay reconstructs this debate first in a historical perspective and then in a diachronic key. From the diachronic analysis of the research and studies on the female gender in the web 2.0 and in particular in the social networks emerges a diversified feminine narrative framework that includes the repetition of the stereotype and successful models alongside innovative openings described and analyzed in the essay.
