Abstract
The population aging increases the demand for services. Quality of life of the elders constitutes an element of study and reflection in scientific and social debate. These represent two challenges for the digital above all for “Community Technologies”. The project “WelComTech, networks to support older adults” becomes an opportunity for research on the relationship between digital media and the elder population, verifying which functions are performed by digital both with respect to the elders and the caregiver (professional, volunteer, family).
