IL DIBATTITO SUL COGNITIVE ENHANCEMENT: OPPORTUNITÀ E CRITICITÀ

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contents of this article testify to the ductility of the application fields of cognitive enhancement techniques: in the literature, in fact, there is numerous evidence in favor of the efficacy of the aforementioned for the enhancement in different domains. Given the potential of the techniques examined, it is possible to hypothesize that the range of application areas may further expand and that enhancement may soon become an integral part of daily life in different contexts. For this, an analysis and discussion of the fundamental ethical issues related to the use of these techniques is necessary, in order to establish shared guidelines in the various areas of. In the light of what has been debated, it is also considered fundamental to inform and raise awareness of the population with respect to the issue, which is indispensable for encouraging an aware and regulated use of enhancement methods.
