Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The purpose of this essay, therefore, is to briefly illustrate the purposes and implications of the Document on Human Brotherhood for world peace and common coexistence signed on 4 February 2019 in Abu Dhabi between Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar. , Ahmad al-Tayyib, a public act of great value because it invites meeting and dialogue with other religious expressions and respect for minorities. In addition, some of the numerous international and national initiatives will be reported which, taking their cue from the Document, have also had repercussions in local Italian contexts.
