Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume offers a reflective itinerary, to walk through one of the fundamental junctions of existence: that of desire. Desire, in fact, is a key device of human life and pedagogical thought. Man has always questioned himself about his own destiny, through desiring. Pedagogy itself questions itself about what moves man towards his fulfillment. Desiring means renewing the taste for life, starting from a courageous deal with the void and with the feeling of rupture that current history (the pandemic in particular) has generated compared to our previous life. There is a strong need, in our days, to renew the promise of a tomorrow, especially for the new generations who are approaching life. Education is called not to hide the fragility, the limit, the finiteness: it is precisely by passing through this path that it becomes possible to restore formative depth to desire, in response to a life that unfolds as a transformation, a break in equilibrium, an exposure to risk. .
