Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The work discusses the conditions of effectiveness of the network contract and, in particular, under what conditions the network contract can be an effective tool to support the competitive strategy. It is believed that the network contract is a comfortable suit for those who have already absorbed the profound value of inter-company cooperation, which consists of the strategic reasons why a certain number of small companies can gain an advantage by joining. The aggregation must be based on a concrete and shared project that directs and gives priority to the action of the companies. After having introduced the network contract in the growth path typical of Italian small and medium enterprises (the relational growth model), the work highlights how the network contract can impact on the relational dynamics of the inter-organizational networks that see companies involved. on the market. The main characteristics and criticalities of the inter-organizational networks are highlighted and it is highlighted how the network contract can allow to overcome these problems. Subsequently, the strengths of the networks between companies are underlined and the traps to be avoided are discussed if the companies relate to each other through network contracts.
