Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The iconographic and compositional innovations of Leonardo's Last Supper are studied in relation to the subject's tradition, to the sources and especially to the Dominican context within which the work is painted, with particular reference to the personality of the prior and theologian Vincenzo Bandello.
