Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution aims to investigate Diego Fabbri's deep connection with Dostoevsky's work that influences the essay, dramaturgy and institutional commitment of the Forlì screenwriter at the Centro Cattolico Cinematografico (CCC). In particular, the aim is to define Fabbri's personal contribution in the Rai dramas I Fratelli Karamazov (1969) and The Demons (1972), in which the author brings years of study and reflection on Dostoevsky's work to the screen. Finally, to better understand the relationship between the screenplay, production and direction of Sandro Bolchi, the case of The Karamazov brothers is analyzed in detail.
