Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In the current conception of orientation, tests have assumed the role of specific tools to be used within a specific application area: that of individual or group counseling. An essential condition for their correct and effective use is, on the one hand, the preparation of the orientation operators and, on the other, the possibility of having current tools available for the specific orientation purpose. The book is divided into three parts. The first part is aimed at providing some basic knowledge related to the vast world of psychological tests and their application to guidance practice. The second part presents a series of current tools specially built by CROSS for school-professional orientation in the various age groups. For each type, an introduction is provided on the theoretical reference principles and the manual for their application. The third part offers space for some research recently conducted within the CROSS activities. Written in a clear and linear form, the book can be a useful operational tool for all those who work in the field of guidance and already use - or wish to use - tests in their professional practice.
