Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Is the Piacenza export boom registered in the last decade attributable to a structural change in the local economy towards a new propensity for the internationalization of production or is it attributable to the new trade flows derived from the logistics activities established in the area? The weight of exports on provincial added value (50%) is to be reduced in reality by at least a quarter, precisely due to the logistics effect, which however must be considered as a further stimulus to the international business originating from the area, also for the development of advanced tertiary companies linked to customs services.
