Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Baskin is a new sport inspired by basketball and allows people with and without disabilities to play simultaneously, male and female, by virtue of new rules and new structures. The functional model of a sport is all the more important the more one wants to make the training methodology qualified. The aim of the present study was to create a performance model for the subjects in role 5. Five male subjects (age 16.8 ± 2.7 aa; BMI 22.6 ± 2.4 kg / m2; VO2max 65.5 ± 6, 8 mlO2 / kg / min; HRmax 196 ± 1.9 bpm) practicing baskin and basketball, were analyzed. Each subject was monitored during the baskin and basketball championship games for 30 minutes with the Actiheart (CamNtech) from which it was possible to extrapolate the peak and average heart rate (HR) and oxygen consumption (VO2) of peak and middle. The subjects were also monitored during 30 'of baskin and basket training with indirect calorimetry (K4b2) to obtain the individual FC / VO2 correlations in real game conditions. This report was used to extrapolate the VO2 from the FC during the games. The analysis of a non-championship baskin match with the GPS (MinimaxX Catapult Innovations) was carried out, from which the meters traveled and the average speed held by the subjects were derived. The VO2 and the medium and peak FC, during baskin and basketball championship matches, were comparable to each other. The peaks of FC reached during the game were 190 ± 8.1 bpm (97 ± 4.8% theoretical HRmax). The average values on which the lots were held are 139 ± 20.8 bpm (71 ± 10.9% HRmax). During the games the peak VO2 value of 62.7 ± 10.5 mLO2 / kg / min (95.2 ± 8.5% VO2max) has been reached. The mean VO2 was 29 ± 10 mLO2 / kg / min (44 ± 15.6% VO2max). The evaluation of baskin's matches with GPS confirms the alternating nature of the discipline: race times at higher and lower intensity throughout the race. From these analyzes it can be concluded that even Baskin behaves like other team sports, with an alternation, that is, of phases with high and low organic-functional commitment. It can also be argued that baskin can be an adequate tool for adolescents' physical activity, meeting the international guidelines for physical activity recommended for this age group.
